Australia condemned for trying to make asylum seekers ‘homeless and destitute’

It’s all about maintaining human dignity and this is not the way to go about it.

Australia’s treatment of Asylum seekers is appalling. I cannot understand the inhumanity that we practice and that we do so in defiance of international law.

The camps at Nauru and Manus are hell holes of which we should be ashamed. There are 50 million refugees and displaced persons in the world.

We can carefully select those who will fit in best with the Australian scene and help them become citizens of quality.
